What makes a winning entry

Your post should answer one question:

"What do Welsh women deserve more of?"

💪
Strength
Show us what you're made of. Wales made it, after all.
😂
Humour
Valleys dry wit. If it sounds like your group chat, you're on to something.
👩‍👧
Motherhood
Welsh mams hold the whole place together and we all know it.
🔥
Comebacks
Life knocked you over. You got up. Tell us how.
🌀
Chaos
Three kids, cold coffee, showing up anyway. That counts.
🫀
Courage
The unglamorous kind. Not Instagram courage. Real life courage.
Judged on: Authenticity · Emotional impact · Originality · Inspiration · Connection to Welsh women / community.
NOT on production value. Film it on your phone in your kitchen. That's fine. Better than fine, actually.

If your idea of self-care is eating a Greggs on the way to pick up the kids — we see you. Enter anyway.

Built in Wales. For women from Wales.

"

I grew up in the Valleys. And when you grow up in the Valleys, you learn two things pretty quickly: Welsh women are extraordinary — and nobody outside Wales has any idea.

I built BUSY BEING ME because I was tired of health and fitness apps made for someone else, by someone else, somewhere else. I wanted something that understood the body, understood the cycle, understood what it means to push through — the way Welsh women push through. Quietly. Without ceremony. While making a cup of tea.

Faces of Wales exists because Welsh women deserve to be seen. Not packaged. Not polished. Not performing for an audience that doesn't understand the reference. Just real. Just Welsh. Just brilliant.

This is for every woman who ever said "I'm from Wales" in a room full of blank faces — and felt proud anyway.
